SAN ANTONIO — The lockout at Macarthur High School has been lifted following earlier reports of a student who was not supposed to be at school who "may plan to come to the campus with a possible weapon."
In communication to parents, the school's principal, Peter Martinez, stated that the buildings are secured and that extra police officers are on hand.
The lockout, which means students are staying inside with all doors locked, was issued around 1 p.m.
Parents were previously asked not to go to the campus at that time since no one would be allowed in the building or allowed to leave the campus.
