Jacqueleen Olivo is one step closer to being free on bond. Her charge and bond have both been decreased significantly in the slaying of a San Antonio man.

Olivo was charged with capital murder in connection with the beating and stabbing of Jose Avila in May 2013. San Antonio Police say she lured him back to his home on East Mistletoe from a bar. Two men were reportedly waiting to ambush and rob the 45-year-old. Investigators say Avila was beaten and stabbed to death.

No arrests were made in his killing until police released Olivo's image to the media. When the 21-year-old tried to explain the circumstances of that night homicide detectives didn't buy her version. She was arrested and held on a $500,000 bond.

A Bexar County Grand Jury indicted Olivo on a lesser charge of murder. She was booked back into jail on a $75,000 bond.
