WASHINGTON — Traveling around the holidays can be known to cause lots of stress and headaches, even when things go according to plan - which isn't always the case. It's gotten to the point where some have decided to just skip the holiday travel all together.

A new study finds 76% of Americans said they'd decided not to travel during the holidays to avoid those potential headaches.

And it's not just one generation feeling stressed out. The survey, shared by Excedrin as part of its 'Tis Headache Relief' campaign, found 71% of Gen Z and 49% of Millennials said that over the past year they experienced either literal or metaphorical travel headaches.

But still, Auto club AAA predicts there will be record-setting travel numbers for Thanksgiving this year, with 79.9 million people in the U.S. hitting the road or flying. If those expectations hold, it would be up 2% from 2023.

The Transportation Security Administration projects the Sunday after Thanksgiving could even break its all-time record of more than 3 million people screened in airport checkpoints nationwide.

To try and give those travelers some relief this holiday season, Excedrin is offering four different limited-edition, travel inspired kits. Each one is designed for different travel personas including "Traveling with Kids," "Airport Dad Dilemmas" and "Coming Home Cringe."

The company is giving away 300 kits between Tuesday, Nov. 19 and Thursday, Nov. 21. Each one includes a suit case packed with a variety of different items to help travelers deal with some of the stress of holiday travel. You can enter for your chance to win on the website
