SAN ANTONIO — With Election Day in the books and the countdown toward a runoff in the mayoral race now ticking, former San Antonio Mayor and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Henry Cisneros gives his take on the day's developments.
"The mayor has a more general base, Brockhouse has a very fixed base; who's going to come out in a runoff?" Cisneros said. "With only three council races having runoffs themselves to bring voters out, you've got to bet Brockhouse has an edge in terms of getting his intense vote out, so the mayor's going to have to work on that."
