SAN ANTONIO — Students and staff at Harlan High School are grieving the loss of student-athlete Shomari Anderson, a football player who died in a crash Saturday morning.
The Harlan Hawk Football team posted a statement about the well-known junior to Twitter on Saturday.
A gathering honoring Anderson is happening at 4 p.m. Sunday on the school's football field.
Harlan High School will also have counselors available for students during first period on Monday.
