Deep holes, destroyed fields, disease and more – one company has come up with a unique way to deal with wild hogs that plague Texas and other parts of the U.S.
WW Livestock Systems in Oklahoma calls its new smartphone-enabled device the "BoarBuster."
While many people will sit for hours and hunt down hogs one-by-one, the BoarBuster lets you set a trap to capture packs at a time.
The trap, connected to the internet via an AT&T data connection, is suspended off the ground and will alert you via smartphone when there is activity in the area. The property owner can then view a live video feed and tap a button to deploy the trap.
The company says it'll be available in the summer of 2015.
Those looking to own it will need about $6,000.
