SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio mother was robbed and shot while dropping off her son at a friend’s apartment.
Police say just after 3:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, the woman was dropping her adopted son off at an apartment near Ingram Park Mall.
Once the son got to the door, police say the robber ran up to the woman’s car, pulled a gun and demanded her belongings.
Police say she was slow to get out of the car, and the gunman shot her through the window. She was shot in the arm and has an exit wound on her back. She was taken to University Hospital.
The suspect took off and has not been caught.
