SAN ANTONIO — Thousands of volunteers are needed for one of the biggest sporting events of 2025, happening in the Alamo City.
The San Antonio Local Organizing Committee (SALOC) created a volunteer program for the 2025 Men's Final Four, which is set for April 4-7. The overall goal of the program is to recruit 2,500 volunteers who are ready and willing to work as thousands of visitors flock to the downtown area.
“Volunteers are the heart of every successful event we host,” San Antonio Sports President & CEO Jenny Carnes said. “This is your chance to be part of something extraordinary, create memories for fans, and show the world what makes San Antonio so special.”
The volunteers will have multiple responsibilities and roles including greeting fans, engaging with visitors at events like Fan Fest and several other duties. Stadium-related volunteering is not required.
All volunteers will also receive a 2025 NCAA Men's Final Four uniform which consists of a polo, cap, and drawstring bag. In addition volunteers will also be given an invite to the exclusive Fan Fest Preview event, four complimentary tickets to Fan Fest and access to a post-celebration party in May 2025.
“Volunteering for the Final Four is not just about supporting the event—it’s about being on the front lines of the excitement and representing San Antonio to the world," Executive Director of SALOC Elena Wells said.
“Whether you’re greeting fans, assisting with events like Fan Fest, or simply sharing your love for our city, this is an opportunity to make lifelong memories while giving back to our community," she added.
Volunteers must meet the following requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older by the time of application.
- Completion of a mandatory background check.
- Commitment to a minimum of three, four-hour shifts between March 31 and April 7, 2025.
