San Antonio is falling in love with the Commanders. The team in the new Alliance of American Football is setting attendance records at the Alamodome and performing well on the field. After seven games, the Commanders are in first place in the Western Conference.
But who are these guys? Linebacker Jayrone Elliott, for example, went undrafted out of Toledo in 2014, but appeared in 42 games with the Green Bay Packers, including four games in the NFL Playoffs.
KENS 5 got the chance to talk with Elliott and several of his teammates to find out what makes them tick. You may have listened to countless interviews with football players about strategy, teamwork and toughness.
But “Keeping up with the Commanders” asks the important questions. You don’t really know your favorite players until you know their opinions on breakfast tacos, Disney princesses and other super-serious issues.
Check out the video above to meet Elliott and Orion Stewart, and click here to watch the rest of our "Keeping Up With the Commanders" series.
