Frustrations shift from field to Dallas Cowboys' locker room after blowout loss to Eagles

As the play on the field declines, so does the locker room culture.

TYLER, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys fell to the Eagles 34-6 on Sunday for their fourth consecutive loss. The "L" took them to 3-6 on the season as they remain winless at AT&T Stadium.

As the play on the field declines, so does the locker room culture.

Head coach Mike McCarthy is in the final year of his contract and many are wondering about his future with the franchise.

After the game Micah Parsons, who had been out for the last few weeks due to injury, was asked what he would tell people wondering whether McCarthy would be the head coach in 2025.

"That's above my pay grade, if Mike's coach again next year," Parsons said. "All coaching aside, Mike can leave and go where he wants to. Guys I feel bad for is guys like Zack Martin and guys who might be on their last year, on their way out, because that's who I wanted to hold the trophy for."

Martin, a nine-time Pro Bowler, is the most veteran player on the team, having been a first-round pick in 2014.

"You want to win games and do great things with those type of legends who put in more time and work than Mike McCarthy ever did," Parsons said. "So those are the kind of guys that I have so much sympathy and hurt for."

McCarthy met with the media on Monday where he was asked about Parson's comments.

"We need to keep it to football," McCarthy said. "If not, our opponent is an hour or two ahead of us."
