SAN ANTONIO — Eight weeks Texas High School Football in the books! Here’s my KENS 5 Top Five!
Number Five! They are for real! The Southwest Dragons took care of rival Southwest Legacy 41-13, improving to (7-0) and (5-0). They visit Eagle Pass Winn this week.
Number Four! It’s Alamo Heights! The Mules have played eight straight weeks! And they are (8-0) after getting past Vets Memorial 37-2. They host McCollum on Friday.
Number Three! The Steele Knights! They were on the bye, getting two weeks to ready for the San Marcos Rattlers on Friday night. Knight Nation is (6-1) on the season!
Number Two! The (7-0) Pieper Warriors! The big Hill Country showdown went their way: 49-35 over New Braunfels. They’ve scored at least 35 points in every game this season. They host MacArthur on Saturday.
And the top spot is once again 'Da Bears'! Brennan beat Holmes 72-7 over the weekend, improving to (6-1). They have run off six straight WINS!
