Everything you need to know if you're going to UTSA's opening game against Kennesaw State

SAN ANTONIO — It's almost game day, Roadrunner fans!

UTSA Football will be kicking off their season against Kennesaw State on Saturday, Aug. 31, at 2:30 p.m. at the Alamodome.

Tickets are on sale by calling or texting 210-458-8872 or visiting Ticketmaster's website.

The game will be an "Orange Out" game, which means fans are encouraged to wear orange. If you don't have any orange to rock, the Rowdy Campus Store has plenty of options at the UTSA Student Union.

The game has been designated as the "Salute to Educators" game as part of the "Salute to Hometown Heroes" series this season. For this game, UTSA will be recognizing and celebrating educators all throughout the day. They will also be offering local teachers and UTSA faculty a buy-one-get-one free ticket offer. The Spirit Walk will be happening at 12:30 p.m. from Cherry Street down Roadrunner Alley. Head Coach Jeff Traylor and the football team will be trekking to their opening game welcomed by Rowdy the Roadrunner, UTSA Cheer and the Spirit of San Antonio band.

If you can't make the game, it will be broadcasted on ESPN+ and the ESPN mobile app. Jack Benjamin and LaDarrin McLane will be the broadcasters.
