Wizards District Gaming selects Benjamin Bernstein with the first overall pick in the 2024 NBA 2K League Draft

The 2024 draft pool consisted of 160 players.

SAN ANTONIO — The NBA 2K League has announced that Wizards District Gaming selected Benjamin “Benzo” Bernstein of Montclair, NJ as the first overall pick in the 2024 NBA 2K League Draft, which was held tonight at Full Sail Live in Orlando.

To round out the top picks, T-Wolves Gaming selected Damian “tutak” Tutak of Clearwater, FL with the second pick.  With the third pick, Magic Gaming chose Julian “jbooiin” Manzanares of Ocala, FL.  

During the three-round draft, the 25 NBA 2K League teams selected 35 players to complete their five-person rosters ahead of the league’s 2024 season.

The 2024 draft pool consisted of 160 players.  In addition to unretained players from last season, the draft pool also included players who earned draft eligibility through the NBA 2K League Become a Pro Series or the NBA 2K League Draft Prospect Series, and select competitors from the NBA 2K League APAC Invitational Presented by Cignal, the NBA 2K League European Invitational, and the NBL Oz Gaming Tournament Series.
