HOUSTON — They’re having a baby!
Just hours after the Astros topped the White Sox for the second straight game, one of the team’s players and his wife announced their big news.
In a shared Instagram post, Mauricio Dubón and his wife, Nancy, posted a video set to Dan + Shay’s “When I Pray for You.” The video featured the couple walking through a field with their two dogs. Throughout the video, you see Nancy’s baby bump and towards the end, they share a photo of the ultrasound.
Nancy Dubón posted, “Dubon party of 5🤍." The five, being Mauricio, Nancy, their dogs, Marcelo and Cash and the baby on the way.
Within a couple hours, there were hundreds of congratulatory comments, including Lance McCullers’ wife, Kara, saying “The best news!!!!! 😭🤍.”
Julia Morales, who reports during Astros broadcasts, added, “I cannot wait for this little one!!”
And from the Astros' Instagram account, "Congrats!!"

The Dubóns were married in Nov. of 2020. Mauricio Dubón came to the Astros in the 2022 season in a trade with the San Francisco Giants.
