Here are the Texas Rangers players heading to the 2023 MLB All-Star Game

After naming the starters last week, the MLB announced the rest of the All-Star team rosters, including pitchers.

ARLINGTON, Texas — The Texas Rangers will be well-represented in this year's All-Star Game following the announcement of the full team rosters on Sunday.

Fans last week voted for the starters on each side, and four Rangers players were named for the American League side:

  • Second base - Marcus Semien
  • Shortstop - Corey Seager
  • Third base - Josh Jung (rookie)
  • Catcher - Jonah Heim

Jung is the first rookie in franchise history to start an All-Star game, according to the Rangers.

On Sunday, the MLB announced the pitchers and reserves joining the All-Star rosters. Two more Texas teammates were announced:

  • Pitcher - Nathan Eovaldi
  • Reserve outfielder - Adolis Garcia

The Rangers have the most All-Stars among any AL team.

The All-Star Game will take place on Tuesday, July 11, in Seattle.

The Rangers' representation on the AL All-Star team is a result of the dominant season they've posted thus far. Texas leads the AL West division race, one year removed from finishing dead last in the division.

The Rangers have had by far the best offense in the league, leading the MLB in batting average, RBIs and hits. The Rangers also mark top 10 in home runs in the MLB.
