Who made the cut? Here's the Rangers' Opening Day roster

After spring training cuts and transactions were finalized, here's where the Rangers stand heading into the season.

ARLINGTON, Texas — The Texas Rangers Opening Day roster is set.

The club finalized its 26-man roster ahead of Thursday night's game against the Chicago Cubs at Globe Life Field.

Major League Baseball teams carry 40-man rosters, but only 26 players are active for games; some players on the 40-man are either on the Injured List (like Jacob deGrom and Max Scherzer) or starting the year in the minors (like prospects Justin Foscue and Sam Huff).
