Here's what channel the Rangers play on in 2024, and the full broadcast crew

On Monday, a court ruling became official, and Bally and the Rangers both released statements confirming the agreement for 2024.

ARLINGTON, Texas — After an offseason of uncertainty, the Rangers' 2024 television broadcast carrier and schedule is officially set.

Bally Sports Southwest will again carry Rangers games this season, despite the network's parent company, Diamond Sports Group, going through bankruptcy proceedings.

A bankruptcy court ruling became official Monday, and Bally and the Rangers both released statements confirming the agreement for 2024.

"We are happy to have an agreement in place and look forward to partnering with Bally Sports Southwest for what should be a very exciting year for our club," the Rangers team officials said in the statement. "At the same time, we will continue to work for ways to enhance and expand how our fans will be able to view Texas Rangers baseball in the future.”

The Associated Press on Friday reported that a federal bankruptcy judge had approved regional broadcast agreements between Diamond Sports Group and three teams: The Rangers, the Cleveland Guardians and the Minnesota Twins.

The deals reportedly expire at the end of the 2024 season. While a total figure for what the Rangers will get paid by Diamond has not been disclosed, the deal was reportedly restructured for less money, according to the Associated Press.

But for at least one more year, Rangers games will appear on Bally.

The network will carry 153 regular-season Rangers games, plus four spring training games. The club's remaining nine games will be aired by national broadcasts, and others could be picked up along the way.

Bally also announced the broadcast crew for its Rangers coverage, the most notable update being the in-game analyst duties. Those were mostly handled by C.J. Nitkowski in 2023, but Nitkowski left the club to take the same position with the Atlanta Braves.

In his absence, a trio of former Rangers will join play-by-play announcer Dave Raymond in the booth: Mike Bacsik Jr., David Murphy and Dave Valle. Jared Sandler, a member of the Rangers' radio broadcast team, will also work on select games as the play-by-play announcer.

Emily Jones and Lesley McCaslin will serve as in-game reporters on the broadcasts.
