SAN ANTONIO — It's time to catch up on some news from the San Antonio Spurs' G League affiliate, Austin Spurs.
ROSTER MOVES
Austin has made a few recent roster moves.
Austin Spurs announced that it has agreed to a trade with the Greensboro Swarm acquiring the returning player rights of Rayjon Tucker in exchange for the returning player rights of Jordan Murphy.
Murphy appeared in 21 games for the Spurs last season, averaging 11.0 points and 5.6 rebounds in 19.7 minutes per game.
Also, Austin announced that they have acquired guard Sir’Jabari Rice and waived David Shriver.
Rice re-joins Austin after most recently being a Two-Way player for the San Antonio Spurs. In four games assigned to Austin, he averaged 9.3 points, 4.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 20.3 minutes.

GRINCHY AUSTIN SPURS JERSEYS CAN BE YOURS
The Austin Spurs played in some rather funny yet cool-looking uniforms versus the Vipers on Dec. 17.
As part of Austin's Season of Giving game, the Spurs wore special jerseys inspired by the popular Christmas character, best known as the one “who stole Christmas.”

The game-worn themed jerseys are now at auction DASH with bidding running through Friday, Dec. 22 at 7 p.m. with proceeds benefiting Foster Angels of Central Texas. Founded in 2010, the Foster Angels of Central Texas is a non-profit whose mission is to improve the lives of children in foster care, ensuring each child has their basic needs met and providing life-enhancing and enriching opportunities.
