Bulls 114, Spurs 95: What the teams said after the game

San Antonio picks up its third straight loss.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs could not get the road win against the Chicago Bulls losing 114-95. The Bulls swept the regular-season series versus the Spurs, 2-0.

Victor Wembanyama finished with seven points and five rebounds in 22 minutes. The rookie was on a minutes restriction for the game.

Zach Collins had 14 points and nine rebounds in the loss. Jeremy Sochan had nine points and seven rebounds. Keldon Johnson added 11 points and six rebounds. Devin Vassell recorded 21 points in the loss.

The Spurs are 4-23 on the season, are on a three-game losing skid, and will next visit the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night.

Here's a sample of what the teams said after the game.

SPURS

Gregg Popovich:

"You got to score. We had three-quarters of pretty good defense. Held them (Bulls) to 25 (points). They broke it open in the fourth (period). You got to score and we got a problem with scoring all year basically."

Vassell:

"100 percent. Definitely need to score the ball. I think just being a team, being a young team, we got to be able to know each other's strengths. Wemby (Wembanyama) at 7-5 we got to see him. He's down there whether he's posting up or he's sealing early, we got to see him. If Jeremy is posting a smaller guard we got to know that's a mismatch."

Wembanyama:

"I think our best greatness is that we actually have a team. We're a team. We have some potential. We got to be smart for 48 minutes."
