SAN ANTONIO — During NBA All-Star Weekend 2024, San Antonio Spurs' Victor Wembanyama debuted his new player edition "alien" Nike sneakers during the Rising Stars Game practice session.
Since then, Nike has released the promo and Wembanyama's new Nike signature logo for the upcoming sneaker release but has been quiet about the details.
Until now.
Here's the latest on when you can buy a pair and show off your fandom for the Spurs big man.
Wemby's "alien" Nike Zoom G.T. Hustle 2 will be released on May 15 at Nike sneaker retailers. The price for a pair will be $170.
Another interesting tidbit is that the sneakers will feature a glow-in-the-dark sole.
The sneakers are in a green and black colorway. The design features an outer space look, with an alien face on the back heel. The Nike Swoosh is metallic silver.
Nike has been busy featuring Wemby sneakers.
The company recently showed off an out-of-this-world AI concept sneaker for the French big man.
