Can the Spurs get another win on the road tonight in Portland?

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs (5-25) will visit the Portland Trail Blazers (8-22) tonight for the second game of a back-to-back series versus Portland. 

GAME REWIND

The Spurs are coming off a road win versus the Blazers, 118-105. The team built a 28-point lead against the Blazers and out-scored Portland 38-14 in the opening frame.

Rookie center Victor Wembanyama finished with 30 points and six rebounds to lead the team to the road win. Zach Collins had 11 points and six rebounds. Jeremy Sochan had 16 points and seven rebounds. Keldon Johnson added nine points and three rebounds. Devin Vassell recorded 17 points in the win.

"We were resilient. That was the most important part. We kept going playing together. We were just playing fast," Jeremy Sochan said. "Communicating, being big. We had a bunch of deflections, steals."

INJURY REPORT

Coach Mitch Johnson said postgame on Dec. 28 that Wembanyama will not play tonight versus Portland. Devonte Graham is out (illness).
