Five things to watch: Spurs vs. Blazers

Can the Spurs pick up a win tonight vs. the Blazers?

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs (8-36) will host the Portland Trail Blazers (13-31) tonight. The Spurs are 1-1 versus the Blazers this regular-season.

GAME REWIND

The Spurs are coming off a home loss versus the Blazers, 140-114.

The Thunder scored a season-high 140 points on 56.3% field-goal shooting in the win, while the Spurs shot 28% from the three-point line.

Victor Wembanyama recorded 24 points and 12 rebounds. Jeremy Sochan had two points and five rebounds. Keldon Johnson added seven points off the bench. Devin Vassell recorded 21 points in the loss. Tre Jones did not play due to an ankle injury, and Blake Wesley started for him at point guard, scoring 12 points.

"You just keep going. We'll watch film tomorrow. Look at what you did well. Look at what you did poorly, whether we had won the game tonight or lost the game. It makes no difference," Gregg Popovich said. "It's the same procedure the next day. I thought the guys tonight played well in the first half, but the three-point shots really hurt us, and they scored 30 points off our turnovers."
