Five things to watch: Spurs vs. Nuggets

Can the Spurs beat the NBA defending champs?

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs (18-57) will visit the Denver Nuggets (52-23) on Tuesday night.

GAME REWIND

The Spurs are coming off a home loss versus the Warriors, 117-113.

Victor Wembanyama led the team with 32 points and nine rebounds. Cedi Osman scored 18 points in the loss, Zach Collins contributed 13 points, and Tre Jones added 12.

Due to injuries, San Antonio was without Jeremy Sochan, Keldon Johnson, and Devin Vassell.

"We have changed a lot since the beginning of the season. We're a totally different team. I think you can see that, obviously, when we're playing on the court. We're much different. We obviously know now what everybody else is capable of," said Cedi Osman. "Now everybody understands as individuals what we have to do. I think we're better. I think that if the season would start today we'd be in a different spot. I really do believe that."
