Coach Gregg Popovich:
"I saw a lot of good things, but shot-making wasn't one of them. I thought we took great shots. I thought Luka (Doncic) and Kyrie (Irving) played like Hall of Fame players. They were fantastic. We couldn't do anything with them, but I saw a lot of good things from the young guys that we can build on. You just got to keep shooting the shots and they don't go in if you want to shoot them. It just makes it a tough night."
Wembanyama:
"Even in the start of the second quarter, we had a decent lead in the first (period). Making shots, shot making, we weren't good tonight. It happens. Also, against this type of players - Luke and Kyrie - we know we're not going to stop every single possession they have. We have to be relentless."
"I've learned plenty of stuff. Most importantly areas where we need to avoid and the ones we need to go strongly. To go at them. I've learned plenty of stuff but the most about myself."
