Did NBA 2K25 reveal the Spurs' new NBA Cup court?

If true, the new Spurs NBA Cup court is winning over Silver and Black fans.

SAN ANTONIO β€” With the start of the San Antonio Spurs 2024-25 season fast approaching, so does the start of the NBA's 2024-25 NBA Cup Tournament.

This means that there should be an alternate home court for the Spurs.

Last season, the team designed it to honor the city's 1968 World's Fair with the Tower of the Americas at center court and a color scheme paying homage to the big event.

But did NBA 2K25 leak the new-look Spurs NBA Cup court ahead of next season?

It appears it did, and if valid, it is a major upgrade versus last season's court.

The court features a return to the team's primary colors (black, white, and gray), with the gold NBA Cup trophy adorning it at the center court and in the lanes.

The team's primary logo, complete with a serape pattern at the scorers box, replaces the Tower of the Americas. The Spurs' alternate logo depicts Texas with a spur across it across the court.

Keep in mind that NBA 2K25 mirrors the NBA.

If a player is traded, new jerseys are set to be released, re-imagined court designs, or any roster updates, the game developers will update accordingly.

This proved true as the video game leaked that Keldon Johnson switched to No. 0, and Chris Paul kept his No. 3 jersey before the Spurs officially acknowledged it.

Spurs fans are thrilled at the supposed new Spurs NBA Cup court and sharing their thoughts on social media.

Neither the Spurs nor the NBA have officially announced San Antonio's new NBA Cup court.
