SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs could not pick up a road win in Brooklyn, losing to the Nets 123-109. The Spurs are on a seven-game losing skid and off to a 0-3 start on the Rodeo Road Trip.
Victor Wembanyama recorded 21 points and four rebounds. Jeremy Sochan had eight points and five rebounds. Cedi Osman added eight points off the bench. Devin Vassell recorded 17 points in the loss. Tre Jones added six points and two assists.
San Antonio shot 32 percent from the three-point line while Brooklyn connected on 50 percent from behind the arch. The Spurs shot 95 percent from the free-throw line and recorded 14 turnovers.
Nets' Cam Thomas scored 25 points to lead Brooklyn and former Spur Lonnie Walker IV played six minutes.
The Spurs are 10-43 on the season and will next visit the Toronto Raptors on Monday night.

Coach Gregg Popovich:
"Shooting helps. Somebody who shoots 50 percent from three (point line) and you shoot 32 (percent), your defensive transition doesn't make a lot of stops, and that's difficult for us. A tough night in that regard. Shooting better helps a little bit of everything."
Wembanyama:
"I feel fine. Our bodies are impacted. The challenge is going through... making those extra efforts; even though we don't feel it, we jump a little bit less high and run a little bit less fast at the beginning of the season, of course.
