LOOK: Renovated Spurs Fan Shop gives fans of the Silver & Black room to shop, a better experience

The Frost Bank Arena's Spurs Fan Shop underwent renovations in the offseason and the new look gives fans to breathe while they shop.

SAN ANTONIO — Over the offseason, the San Antonio Spurs Frost Bank Center Fan Shop closed in June for renovations.

And with the team's regular-season home opener on Saturday night against Houston, fans can get their first look at the new-look arena spot for the latest team merchandise.

Among the first things you notice is how much more space has opened up for fans to peruse the merch. Last season, as the Victor Wembanyama Era got underway and fan excitement was rejuvenated, the shop was so packed that lines often had to form outside to alleviate the congestion.

That might not be as much of a problem this season.

The aisles of the newly renovated shop are more expansive, and the store's right wall was torn down and moved further out to make the fan shopping experience feel less like a shoulder-to-shoulder evening at Night In Old San Antonio during Fiesta.

The shop's updated design features new digital elements and a dedicated queue area, providing a more modernized shopping experience. Multiple television screens show the game so fans can keep an eye on the scoreboard.

The checkout line is now at the far left of the store, adding more space to move around.

The store's manager said the renovations aren't fully complete. Interactive stations, such as the "Jersey Lab" where fans can customize their own jerseys, were undergoing some fine-tuning ahead of the start of the regular season.

Meanwhile, new merch has hit the store, including the team's official "Hispanic Heritage Month" Guayabera shirt, bobblehead T-shirts featuring Keldon Johnson and Jeremy Sochan, and more,

However, the leading fan shop is not the only spot in the Frost Bank Center where fans can get the latest gear.

A new store will be open on Saturday night located near Section 120, where the custom jersey spot used to be on the main concourse.

The renovations will undoubtedly be welcomed by fans looking to make a faster and easier purchase so they can return to their seats and not miss any action on the court.
