SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs basketball card collectors will be looking at adding the newest and spookiest Victor Wembanyama card to their collection.
Panini of America has revealed a new Wembanyama Instant card but if you are thinking it is of him in action on the court, think again.
To commemorate his awesome Halloween 2023 costume, Panini released a Wembanyama "Slenderman" basketball card and it is awesome.
It features the rookie in the "Slenderman" look with the black jacket and pants as well as the white mask and gloves.
"Slenderman leads Spurs to slender win," the card reads.
On the back of the card, there is a cool description of the terror Wembanyama strikes in the opposition.
"For the Spurs, Wembanyama is the most exciting young star in the league. In the eyes of everyone else, he's a terrifying figure who is set to dominate the other 29 teams. On Halloween, the Suns were more afraid of him in a basketball uniform than of him in his pregame costume."
But you need to act fast if you want this card!
The new Wemby card is only available for a limited time and the price point for this base card starts at $9.00 for one.
Recently, Panini released an Instant Card to commemorate his first game versus Dallas but is now unavailable.
Overall, Wemby cards have been a hot commodity since before he even entered the league.
Prices for his cards have reached astronomical prices at auction going for thousands of dollars.
You can expect more rare cards to come out featuring the Spurs rookie as his career moves forward to make Spurs card collectors rejoice.
