SAN ANTONIO — After more than six months without basketball in the Alamo City, it's finally game day!
The San Antonio Spurs take on the Dallas Mavericks Thursday night at 6:30 p.m.
Following two 22-win seasons, San Antonio has a sense of optimism with the progression of Victor Wembanyama and the additions of veterans Chris Paul and Harrison Barnes.
If you're looking for a place to watch the Spurs game with other fans, you might want to head to the north side.
The Rock at La Cantera is hosting a Fanfest Watch Party starting at 6 p.m.
The game will be shown on a 40-foot LED screen. Make sure you bring your own chair or blanket.
Food and beverages will be available to purchase. The first 100 attendees will receive one free drink ticket.
There will also be a pregame pep rally at the WW White Financial Center from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be free food and activities as well as raffles for free Spurs tickets.
The Spurs Coyote and Hype Squad will also be there.
If you prefer to stay home, the game will also be on TNT at 6 p.m. on streaming services.
