Spurs 117, Pacers 105: What they said after the game

The Spurs pick up their second-straight win.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs picked up their second straight win beating the Pacers, 117-105.

Victor Wembanyama finished with 31 points, six blocks, and 12 rebounds. Malaki Branham had 18 points and four rebounds. Zach Collins added 11 points off the bench. Devin Vassell recorded 17 points in the win. Keldon Johnson added 17 points.

The Spurs are 13-48 on the season and will next visit the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night.

Here's a sample of what the teams said after the game.

SPURS

Coach Gregg Popovich:

"Both teams missed a lot of shots in the first quarter. Nobody could really put it in the hole really. The best part of the game was being in the fourth quarter and standing up to their run. We kept our composure and continued to execute and that was the best part of the game."

Johnson:

"That's a really good team. A really amazing offensive team. We just tried to make our presence known throughout the whole game. We had a big emphasis on starting off strong and getting to a great start. We're just trying to build good habits. You learn a lot of things when you lose close games."

Sochan:

"Every game matters. You learn something from every game. Whether good or bad. As we always said, it is a process. Every day we just want to learn, grow, whether its in film, practice. Treatment. Understanding our bodies. It's important to learn and grow together. Every game matters no matter if we are in the playoffs or not."

Wembanyama:

"We learn. We compete in every game. Now we execute better. That is the difference. Realizing our strengths more and more. Having each other's back. We want to be great and every game matters.
