SAN ANTONIO — It's not been the best start to the San Antonio Spurs season.
The team is riding a franchise-record 17-game losing streak after losing to the Rockets Monday night and is 3-19 (worst start in team history) which puts them at the bottom of the Western Conference.
Recently, center Zach Collins urged fans to stick with the team as it goes through a very rough patch.
"The tide will turn and we owe a lot to our fans and we're going to get it right," he said.
But are fans still holding out hope that the Spurs will take a turn for the better?
Here's a sample of what Spurs fans are saying about their faith in the hometown team on social media:
Following the loss against Houston, forward Keldon Johnson remained optimistic about the team's potential moving ahead in the season.
"It's frustrating. We know that it will turn. We know that we put in the work for it. We believe in each other," he said. "I wouldn't want to do it with any other group than the group we got."
The Spurs' slate does not get any easier.
The team will next host a pair of games versus the Lakers, then will face the Pelicans and visit the Bucks.
