SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs' Victor Wembanyama is such a unique player that he has no comparison.
His ability to do so much on both ends of the court makes him a near one-of-one player, but Spurs great Tony Parker sees some similarities Wemby shares with LeBron James.
"He's not bothered by the pressure or expectation. He's a little like LeBron," said Parker with Yahoo! Sports. "The only one I can compare with so much expectation before you arrive is LeBron James."
That is high praise for Wemby considering James is destined to be a Basketball Hall of Famer.
Interestingly, Parker compares Wemby and James because LeBron gave the Spurs center his nickname: "The Alien."
"The way he (Wembanyama) played his rookie season with the Spurs, he was unbelievable," added Parker.

Team France suffered a tough loss to Germany, 85-71, and following the game, France's head coach harshly criticized their star player, Wembanyama.
Vincent Collet pointed out how much Wemby stopped the ball against Germany and how much he cannot play like that moving forward.
“He stopped the ball too much. Against that kind of aggressiveness, you can’t play that way. You are never 1-on-1 because they come to double-team, and there’s no space to operate. It’s important to move the ball.”
The loss was costly as France will face Team Canada in the first elimination game next. Wembanyama finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds in the loss to Germany.
