SAN ANTONIO — Austin saw some famous people at the weekend's Formula 1 Pirelli United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas, and a few San Antonio Spurs players took in the racing action.
Sidy Cissoko, Harrison Barnes, Sandro Mamukelashvili, Charles Bassey, and RC Buford were in attendance, and some of the players wore the new Spurs-Alpine Formula One team gear, which fans can purchase.
Pierre Gasly of the BTW Alpine F1 Team also rocked a Spurs-Alpine jersey at the event.
“The Spurs share BWT Alpine Formula One Team’s drive and determination to strive for greatness, compete to win, and serve as leaders in our leagues,” said Jordan Mandelkorn, Associate Vice President of Marketing & Creative Studio at Spurs Sports & Entertainment. “This capsule collection brings together two global sports forces, resulting in some unique pieces, and we’re all looking forward to seeing these pieces courtside and trackside, from Paris to Texas and beyond.”
