Spurs convert Dominick Barlow to standard contract; ink point guard Jamaree Bouyea to two-way deal

San Antonio has made several roster moves including signing Raiquan Gray, waiving Mamadi Diakite.

SAN ANTONIO — According to a report, the San Antonio Spurs are converting Dominick Barlow's two-way deal into a standard NBA contract.

The move allows Barlow to remain on the San Antonio bench while no longer being limited to 50 games.

Barlow has played in 23 games for the Spurs, averaging 4.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 47% shooting in 13.3 minutes per game.

He was also named to the G League's "Next Up" game and posted 22.0 points per game in five regular season games in Austin.

SPURS SIGN POINT GUARD BOUYEA

The Spurs have also reportedly signed point guard Jamaree Bouyea to a two-way deal.

Bouyea played at the University of San Francisco, appearing in 160 games and finishing as the school’s all-time leader in games played and wins.

He went undrafted in 2022, but went on to play for the G League's Skyforce. He played with the Heat, Wizards and Blazers in 2023, as well as the G League Remix team based in Portland.

He's listed at 6-2, 180 pounds and averaged 18.2 points per game, 47% shooting from the field and 41% from the three-point line with the Skyforce this season.

With the Spurs looking for point guard help, Bouyea could have the opportunity to audition for the team moving forward should he remain in San Antonio and not be assigned to the Austin Spurs.

TEAM SIGNS GRAY TO TWO-WAY DEAL, WAIVES DIAKITE

The Spurs also have signed Austin Spurs' Raiquan Gray to a two-way deal and have waived Mamadi Diakite.

This season, Gray's play with Austin earned him a spot on Team USA's Men's AmeriCup Qualifying Team.

He also joined Locked On Spurs to talk about his pro-basketball journey.
