SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs have announced that several players will not play versus the Thunder in preseason game No. 1.
According to the Spurs, Charles Bassey, Zach Collins, David Duke Jr., Chris Paul, Devin Vassell, and Victor Wembanyama will not play against the Thunder.

The team reports that he participates in non-contact drills, and his status will be updated on Nov. 1.
Bassey and Collins both came off surgeries last season. Collins (shoulder) and Bassey (knee), and it is likely just a precautionary move.
Wembanyama and Paul have been participating in practice, as have Collins and Bassey.
The Thunder will be without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Lu Dort against San Antonio.
The Spurs will next face the Magic on Wed., Oct. 9, at home in preseason action.
