San Antonio Spurs announce basketball operations staff movements; New culinary experiences coming to the Frost Bank Center

Gorgui Dieng is now an assistant general manager of the Austin Spurs.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs have announced additions and promotions within the team’s basketball operations staff.

Former Spurs player Gorgui Dieng is now an assistant general manager with the team's G League affiliate Austin Spurs.

In addition, the Spurs have added Mike Noyes (who spent the past six seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies with player development) as assistant coach/director of player development and promoted Josh Larson to Austin Spurs general manager.

Austin has been busy revamping the roster and bringing in a new head coach, Scott King, who has been a guest on Locked On Spurs.

NEW CULINARY EXPERIENCES COMING TO THE FROST BANK CENTER

The team also announced the lineup for the fourth season of the Spurs Culinary Residency Program at Frost Bank Center. 

12 San Antonio restaurants will showcase their signature dishes at the arena, offering fans a unique and local culinary experience.

“The Spurs Culinary Residency Program is more than just a showcase of delicious food; it’s a celebration of the stories and passion behind each local business,” said Kevin Barker, Associate Director of Culinary Experience at SS&E, in a release. “By expanding the program and involving fans in the selection process, we want to highlight the unique narratives and culinary traditions that make San Antonio's food scene so special.”

According to the team, the Spurs Culinary Residency Program offers participating restaurants valuable professional development opportunities led by SS&E corporate university.
