SAN ANTONIO — Paris' Fashion Week 2024 would not be complete without one of France's greatest exports - San Antonio Spurs' Victor Wembanyama.
The French big man appeared at the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2025 Show, looking stylish in Louis Vuitton clothes and a handbag.
NFL player Lamar Jackson joined Wemby at the fashion event and snapped a photo with the 2024 Rookie of the Year.
Wembanyama signed with Louis Vuitton as a brand ambassador in 2024 and shared that he felt teaming up with the fashion house was a perfect fit for him.
“I wanted a meaningful partnership,” Wembanyama said to GQ. “To me it made a lot of sense to partner with LV—you know, French excellence. The expertise is something that I feel very much attracted to.”
"Striving for excellence and with a perpetual honing of craft, Victor joins Louis Vuitton on a journey of shared values and aligned ambitions. Like Louis Vuitton himself, the young athlete has blazed a trail, excelling in a career that is only just beginning," the fashion house said in a news release.
Billboards advertising the Wemby-Vuitton pairing are dotted throughout San Antonio, and a pop-up shop appeared on the city's Southside.
