Spurs waive Nathan Mensah; Spurs Shop at The Rock at La Cantera is open

The new retail space is within the Victory Capital Performance Center, the Spurs' state-of-the-art practice facility.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs announced that the team had waived forward Nathan Mensah. He appeared in one preseason game for the Spurs.

Mensah inked a non-guaranteed training camp deal with the Spurs in July, and he will likely end up with the Austin Spurs.

SPURS SHOP AT THE ROCK AT LA CANTERA IS NOW OPEN

The Rock at La Cantera's Official Spurs Fan Shop grand opening, presented by Victory Capital, is over, and fans can now head out to the shop to grab the latest team merch. 

The new retail space is within the Victory Capital Performance Center, the Spurs' state-of-the-art practice facility.

“This grand opening represents the latest milestone in the growth of this dynamic community space,” said Caroline Churchill, Chief Marketing Officer of Victory Capital, in a release. “We are excited that Spurs fans will have the opportunity to enjoy a unique shopping experience inside the walls of the cutting-edge Victory Capital Performance Center.”

The grand opening featured appearances from Coyote and the Hype Squad and a free hat and shoe customization station, where shoppers could bring their own items to be customized. The customization options included Spurs and Coyote patches.
