Spurs rookie Stephon Castle visits White House, plans meet-and-greet with fans in Del Rio

Castle visited the White House to celebrate UConn's NCAA Championship.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs' Stephon Castle and his UConn teammates visited the White House to celebrate their 2023-24 NCAA Championship with President Joe Biden.

The rookie shared a personal photo of him inside the White House, and the White House shared pictures of the team meeting Biden.

Castle was instrumental in helping UConn win the NCAA Championship. His play was critical for the Huskies, and it helped him earn the Spurs' selection as their first pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

MEET-AND-GREET WITH CASTLE IN DEL RIO ANNOUNCED

Spurs fans in Del Rio, Texas, will have a unique Silver and Black visitor this month just ahead of the new season.

Rookie Stephon Castle will be at a meet-and-greet on Monday, September 16th, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM in Del Rio at Toyota Del Rio at 3617 Veteran Blvd., 78840.

Fans attending will receive a free autographed Castle poster and get a chance to win one of 50 free basketballs.
