Due to injuries, San Antonio was without Jeremy Sochan, Cedi Osman, Keldon Johnson, Victor Wembanyama, and Devin Vassell.

The Spurs are 20-60 on the season and will next host the Denver Nuggets on Friday night.

Here's a sample of what the teams said after the game.

SPURS

Coach Gregg Popovich:

"Every minute they [role players] get is a learning experience for them. It doesn't matter what's going on in the court. It's about them executing. Learning how to play, not just with each other, but improving their individual game. They're all young guys trying to make a career. All the minutes, the experience adds up over time."

Collins:

"We've just been continuing to grow all year. These last few games, all of our wins have been close wins and we're grinding out wins now. We're grinding out to be in a position to win games now. So definitely something to build on, and we got to carry that into next year and will be much better."

"We got a reality check of how hard it is to win in this league and luckily, we started to figure it out later. We got to carry that, and we got to carry that same confidence. Going into next year."

THUNDER

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren, Lu Dort, and Head Coach Mark Daigneault:
