SAN ANTONIO — What happens when you put San Antonio Spurs great Tim Duncan and his former teammate Richard Jefferson together for an interview? You get peak comedy!
The former Spur launched his new show, "The Richard Jefferson & Larry Show," with Duncan invited to be his first guest.
Duncan answered some hard-hitting questions, including his go-to karaoke song (Sir Mix-a-lot's "Baby Got Back") and whether he's upset that baggy 1990s fashion is back in the NBA. He also admitted he laughs at having been thrown out of a game by ex-NBA ref Joey Crawford for laughing on the bench, and refuses to be Jefferson's new co-host.
Duncan also reveals who he would start, bench, and cut on a three-man roster.
"I'll start David (Robinson). Bench Manu (Ginobili), and I'll cut the French boy (Tony Parker)," Duncan quipped. "Wait, can I do it again?"
When the laughs stopped for a while, Duncan revealed that his favorite NBA memories are lifting the Larry O'Brien trophy and embracing the challenge of raising good kids.
This is a must-watch for all Spurs fans. Prepare to roll on the floor laughing.
