SAN ANTONIO β The end to the Kawhi Leonard era in San Antonio left a sour taste for some fans. Leonard, once viewed as the next franchise player for the Silver & Black after Tim Duncan retired, only appeared in 9 games for the team last season.
After making it clear he didn't want to stay in San Antonio, he was traded (along with Danny Green) to Toronto, in exchange for DeMar DeRozan and Jakob Poeltl.
But how should fans at the AT&T Center treat Kawhi when he takes the floor Thursday night?
At the Raptors' team shootaround Thursday morning, Kawhi shared his view of the situation.
Some fans are against the boo, but it seems San Antonio fans can agree on one thing.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center and the game will be televised nationally on TNT.
