SAN ANTONIO — If you had any money to burn on a great San Antonio Spurs collectible jersey, then you missed your chance.
Auction site Goldin recently announced that it was auctioning a Victor Wembanyama autographed Spurs Icon Edition jersey, and bidding topped over $3,000.
Wemby signed the jersey and inscribed "2023 #1 pick" on the back of the number one.
Note it is a Fanatics jersey, and it is not listed as a game-worn Wembanyama jersey.
Just how fast did the bid climb in cost? Bidding opened at $14 and rapidly hit $2,750, which was the winning bid. The final total price was $3,355.
However, if you missed your chance at this Wemby jersey, then you are in luck.
Goldin has another auction that is still ongoing of another Wemby jersey with the same inscription and autograph.
The current bid for that jersey is $1,077, which has yet to sell.
