SAN ANTONIO — Three days after the Spurs reportedly were set to sign free agent Marcus Morris to a two-year/$20 million deal – an acquisition set up by San Antonio trading Davis Bertans – the 29-year-old forward is now "re-considering" the agreement, according to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski.
Wojnarowski, who also broke the news of the acquisition on Saturday, tweeted the update on Tuesday afternoon. And according to him, it's a Big Apple team Morris is now pondering joining.
The reported Morris signing was part of a flurry of Spurs moves over the weekend that included the aforementioned trade of Bertans to Washington, as well as a re-structuring of free agent acquisition DeMarre Carroll's contract that has him ready to suit up for San Antonio for three years.
