SAN ANTONIO — A big rig fell off a highway bridge Tuesday night, causing a few main lanes to be blocked off, officials say.
At about 10:32 p.m., officers were called to the southbound lanes of IH-35 and New Laredo Highway.
Upon arrival, they found an 18-wheeler that had fallen off the bridge. Investigators say the driver may have lost control due to the slick roads.
The passenger of the rig was taken to a hospital. It doesn't appear that anybody was seriously injured.
