SAN ANTONIO — Part of an 18-wheeler was teetering over the edge of a bridge on the northeast side Wednesday afternoon, resulting in Loop 1604 lane closures and traffic congestion, according to San Antonio police.
No one was injured in the incident, and SAPD said the scene along East Loop 1604 at Green Mountain Road was cleared as of 4 p.m. No details have been given about how the accident occurred; it appeared to involved no other vehicles.
The roadway mishap was part of a busy morning for San Antonio law enforcement. Elsewhere in the city, a roadway sign fell on a car traveling on I-35and bricks spilled along westbound Loop 410 near Blanco.
