SAN ANTONIO - A UPS truck and its contents were severely damaged in a vehicle fire at I-10 East and Roland Avenue Monday evening.
The incident blocked lanes of traffic and caused severe backups in the area around 7:30 p.m.
The San Antonio Fire Department said the driver of the truck complained of a minor injury at the scene, but refused emergency medical treatment.
SAFD also said the cause of the fire was not clear, but it does not appear to be suspicious.
The fire could have resulted from a mechanical problem, according to SAFD.
