SAN ANTONIO — A driver escaped after a car was stuck in high water at Salado Creek off Ira Lee Road and Austin Highway Tuesday morning.
Officials say they did not find a driver in the Lexus that was stuck on its side in the creek. They believe the driver got out on their own.
The heavy rain in San Antonio caused people some problems all over our area Tuesday morning. Watches and warnings were issued throughout the morning in parts of San Antonio, the Hill Country and counties west of San Antonio.
San Antonio officials are warning drivers to "turn around, don't drown" as scattered showers continue to make the road situation worse.
