Overnight storms bring flash flooding | KENS 5 Weather Impact Forecast

The rain will clear ahead of a cool, comfortable Election Day. Rain chances return later this week.

SAN ANTONIO — Weather Impact Alert Day: Monday night, November 4

Reason: Marginal risk for severe thunderstorms

There is a chance for strong to severe storm primarily between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. Some of the stronger storms could have gusty winds and hail. Eyeing the November 7 and 8 time frame for a more significant rain chances and those days may be added in the future.

Forecast Summary

Morning clouds then partly to mostly cloudy skies on Monday, 20% chance of showers. High 87°

Monday night a cold front will move across the area, and with this front there will be a good chance for scattered showers and storms late tonight and overnight. Some of the storms may have gusty winds and hail.

The next couple days will not be as warm with highs in the 70s.

The mornings will be nice Tuesday and Wednesday, lows Wednesday morning will dip into the lower 50s.

Rain chances return for the end of the week.
