SAN ANTONIO — A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been implemented for regions of South Texas northwest of Bexar County, and is expected to be in effect until 11 p.m.
Specifically, the watch is for residents in Bandera, Edwards, Kendall, Kerr and Real counties. According to the National Weather Service, the biggest threats include the possibility of lime-size hail, wind gusts of up to 70 mph and frequent lightning.
San Antonio is not included in the watch's impacted area.
